Laboratory Manager – Winechek Barossa Valley
Growing up in Whyalla and getting a degree in Organic Chemistry, it was inevitable he would end up working at BHP.
Quickly realising wine taste better than iron ore dust however, Michael soon moved to Hardys Wines at Reynella in a variety of technical roles. From there he spent 7 years in the Riverland running laboratories at Tandou Wines then Angoves.
After getting a Masters Degree in Wine Business and Marketing, he moved to the Barossa in 2010, and has been managing Winechek for the last 11 years.
